President's Science College, Puttalam is a school dedicated for G.C.E. Advanced Level Biological, and Physical Science Streams. The school was inaugurated in 2009, as a mean to address the physical as well as human resource scarcity for the above-mentioned streams specially in Tamil Medium in Puttalam District. Since then, President’s Science College has improved the quality of science education in the district and created many outstanding alumni who have gone on to pursue their higher education in many prestigious universities in both government and private sectors. Most notably in 2015 G.C.E. Advanced Level exams, student who was ranked second at national level in biological science stream was from President’s Science College, Puttalam. Currently there are more than 350 students studying in our college in both biological and physical science streams.
